2001 Razorback pull-shock

Last year I got my wife a Razorback frame from ediscountbike.com. It's been a terrific frame and she loves it/ Just recently the Noleen pull-shock has had problems holding air. Last night we rode and it went flat after a short time. I aired it up (95 psi) when we were done and after the 30 minute drive home (50 degrees air temp) it went flat again. Does the shock need to be rebuilt? Does it just need to have the air sleeve cleaned and relubed (if so how's it accomplished)? Should I send the shock in to K2 for service. Please help me figure out the best way to get this fixed, thanks.

If the shrader valve isn't leaking then a rebuild is probably required,if you're not acustomed to carrying out shock rebuilds best send it to a Noleen service centre for an overhaul,Simon

Yes, the shrader valve could be the culprit, hopefully. Can I check it with a little soapy water? I've done Fox shock servicing but never a Noleen and from the pdf file from the K2 website, it looks extremely complex compared to the Fox. Of course the Fox was just cleaning relubing and replacing the o-rings and such. How is the K2 service center in turn around time on an overhaul?

Check the shrader with soapy water or saliva with the shock fully inflated, you could also cover the shock in soapy water and see if there any leaks from the seals/shaft area,I cannot comment on the noleen service turn around as I live in England, its excellent over here though but I no longer use a noleen shock.Simon.
