Anyone have a set or two of cleats for the K2 Mag pedals? I have worn mine a bit and need a new set. Thanks
PS Over 600 miles on my Oz build (completed in June) and still going strong.

;)T-child, those are made by Wellgo, so any wellgo spd-type pedal cleat should work.

Thunder! Long time no see!
As far as I know, the K2 mag pedals are interchangeable with Shimano cleats. At least, I never noticed a difference when I used my Shimano cleats on my father-in-law's K2 pedals.

I have compared my K2s to Ritchey's made by Wellgo. The tail section of the K2s is 2 mm wider than the Ritchey's. I have also tried clipping into shimano pedals. It was very hard to clip out.
Anyone with any other experience?

there'sa shimano cleat that will fit it # SH-51 (i think)
you will need to readjust the tension settings wth the new cleats
as an afterthought i have a set of used Girvin cleats that are not worn out that i could just send you. in box me if you want 'em..free of course [smiley=laughing.gif]

I also had a pair of Ritchey pedals/cleats, and they were narrower than my Shimano cleats. Supposedly, they were interchangeable with Shimano cleats (i.e. the shimano cleats were supposed to work with my Ritchey pedals and vice versa), but the fit was not ideal in either direction. In fact, the Shimano cleats would not even clip into the Ritchey Pedals. However, my Ritcheys were the V2 comps, which are NOT made by Wellgo. (The Ritchey cleats worked okay with the Shimano pedals though...)
However, I have a feeling that sometimes it depends more on the individual pedal in this case. After worrying that my Ritchey pedals were too "stiff," I got a second pair of Shimano pedals (515's) to replace them, and they ended up being WAY too tight. Even at their loosest setting, they were harder to clip out of than my Ritchey/Shimano combos.
Fortunately, shortly thereafter I was given a pair of Bebop pedals, which beat the heck out of anything else I've tried. They are my all time favorite pedals. One caveat though: all of the above mentioned pedals were used on my road bike, in spite of being MTB pedals. I have not yet tried the Bebops on my MTB because I'm not a fan of swapping stuff around all the time, and the light pedals are staying on the light bike. But it seems like they would be just as incredible off road as on. Certainly as good as, if not better than Speedplay Frogs. Unfortunately, just as expensive. It will be a long time before I can afford a second pair!
