I purchased a brand new "Way Big" 98' K2 Animal (Y style frame???) w/ the Noleen NR 2 sometime ago. I am not sure I will build it as I allready have a Disco Monkey w/ the same geometry etc. What's the frame worth? Thanx

I ride the same frame and I bought mine about 2 yeras ago for $300 from Ediscount. It is strong good frame. the only problem is the shock is non-replaceable. If I had a disco monkey I would ride that since to you can exchange the shock.

Actually I believe Risse still makes a replacement shock.

you are correct!! Risse does make replacement shocks for this bike.
check out
www.risseracing.com
and go to applications, then K2. you will see it listed with the '98 Beast.
you can also send the OEM shock back to Noleen Shock Service with $100 and in (3) days have a re-built shock.
