I need a new Girvin X-Link Pro-Carbon!!!
« on: September 07, 2003, 11:24:39 pm »
Hey all,

Anybody got a spare/unused Girvin X-Link Pro-Carbon fork knocking about, or can someone tell me where to find a new one.

Mine got damaged (irrepairably) when some daft cow [smiley=furious.gif] went into the back of my car (bike was on the rack), it has snapped right above the brake bosses. :(

I am in London,UK and it is proving a real nightmare to get my 4500c back on the road, I have a Pace on at the moment, but I prefer the x-links.

Cheers

Seren

I have a set in perfect working order with working Smart Shock.

I'm in the UK so shipping would be easy.

Message me if you are interested.

Seren,
I've got a really nice used one that some guy was going to send me 125 bucks for about 2 months ago or so. never got the money, so I would be willing to sell to you. I also have a rebuild kit for it should you need it in the future.
please let me know if you would like to see pics of it. I will email them to you.

I have the current one Im running that I will either sell once i get my telescopic fork, or might keep around ... not sure. I still have to resolve the blown smartshock but im not sure that k2 will do anything since their warrantee states 1yr on suspension parts, assuming that means noleen shocks.
