I currently have as a short term, measure elastomers on the rear of my 855. I plan to get an Astro 5 for the rear but I need I need help identifing what
wishbone I have. I think it is a 755. Will a Astro 5 bolt straight on? Do i need a freedon plate or some other sort of adaptor? Any comments appreciated. I will try and attach the picture below!

My 855 and 955 don't look like that. They both have a cone shaped hole at the end.

a cone shaped indentation in the "top P of the strut where the shock mounts??Sounds like you have x56 struts.

Is that normal, to get the x56 stut on an x55. I bought both of the bikes new in 1995.
I'm looking to buy new shocks for them and it sounds like I will need to get one that fits an x56 then.
