«

hey guys, check these babies out!
carbon hubs, carbon spokes, carbon rims, disc compatible, 1200g per pair.
only problem is they are 25 hundred, for each wheel!!
but, they are guaranteed for 2 years!!
dream on!! but wouldn't they look great on Blue Crush, or any Oz?

$5,000 is cheap compared to a new set of teeth if those dangerous wheels that you now have disintegrate!
chi-chi n. extravagant parts used to dress up a bicycle to make it more impressive looking.

actually these wheels may not be as "unobtanium" as I had originally thought. I got the price from the only online shop that had them listed. It is a shop in Denmark. I am pretty sure that "Hjulsæt" means wheelset, which means these babies are about $2500.00 per PAIR!!
this may be do-able. I am looking into new wheels for my road ride and they also make them in a road wheel.
stay tuned!!

[smiley=laughing.gif] excuse me for laughing but at a $1.50 to the pound.
Its as bad as me owning this Merlin echo frame which costs £1750.00.
Bike cost far too much.
A guy is measured by a woman by the number of toys he has meaning he has bags of money but what women dont think about first, we only have money to spend on toys and not them.
Nice wheels.
How cheaply can you guys buy a set of lupine lights for the most expensive set.
I have a customer who ships to the US pretty often, you just have the parcel to you from his distrubution warehouse.

Dominic,
I think you got it about right with the women and money thing.
I just found the most expensive lupine light system at gretnabike.com for $500.00 US (nightmare li-ion). thats where everyone on mtb review got them.
How much can you get them for? everyone says they are by far the best and lightest lights.
by the way, I do alot of sailing, have education as a naval architect, modified a couple boats and even built a couple of carbon/foam sailboards for myself, but what you are doing with repairing the Oz is remarkable.
if mine ever cracks, heaven forbid, it will be on the first plane to your place!!
let us know how it turns out.
