enjoy and tell me what you think! I will tell you that it rides like a dream with this fork. Still waiting on bushings for my Astro 5 rear shock. (its been almost a year!)

If your Astro 5 mounts are 1/2" width and 1/2" holes, Fox bushings should work fine.  Fox has great service; mine came in only a few days.  Risse should be ashamed.

Looks great, Dennis.  A year for bushings must have you steaming!  Also is that a 125mm fork and have you run it at max travel, whatever it may be?

yea, Risse sent me the wrong bushings twice,and I have been waiting quite a while (over a month) for the , hopefully, correct ones.
anyway, Scott, the Talas is an adjustable travel fork.
it adjusts from 3-5 inches of travel, and yes, I have run it at full travel. the bike works great in all modes.

That's dirty? It reminds me of the Batmoblie, you should change it's name! How about "Blue Bat".  You can use oversize (width) bushings and file or grind them to fit your frame if necessary.

And what kind of rear derailleur is it (I'm not the best informed person when it comes to bikeparts).

the wheels ride great, I really like them. alas, they are not disc compatible, so this winter they will be replaced with Aerospoke wheels. also, the rear derailleur is by Precision Billet. I got it from cambriabike.com, not sure if they still have them or not. I will also be putting Precision Billet shifters on this thing once I can get the alu parts anodized the correct color blue.

I have already obtained a Woodman carbon cage lat so that I can actually use the bottle cage on Blue Crush. the one on there (Ringle) looks good, but there is not actually enough clearance to put a bottle in!! good thing I use a hydration pack. but thanks for the info.

Woodman makes some high quality gear-plus they have a black/yellow/red color scheme that matches the standard Oz perfectly.  I have a rear fender and pair of shockboots from them.

I have one of those Woodman rear fenders that I was going to use on the Oz as it is considerably lighter than the Mud Machine one I have on there.
The only problem was that it seemed to interfere with my v-brakes and seemed as if my 2.1 tires wouldn't fit.
How do you find yours? does it fit your bike well? how wide a tire are you able to use in the back?
I would be interested to know.

My fender will not mount to the brake bosses-it'll work perfectly on Teresa's Marin Rift Zone.  For the Oz I plan to cut the boss mounts off and fab an alloy braket from 1/8 stock to "shoe goo" directly beneath the lower shock mount-this will be lighter than the intended mount and still durable.  I have a 2.35 tire which appears well covered by the width of the Woodman fender.
