Will Noleen shock fit on a proflex 954?

I apologize in advance if this topic has been covered before but I did a quick search and didnt find anything about application for the 954. I am new to this forum after buying a proflex 954 on craigslist. I was just wondering what options I have for a rear shock other than...
A) Buy elastomers for $45
B)Drop $200 for a Risse shock
C)make a poor mans version of a shock with spring wrapped with inner tube with cable ties (currently using this)
D)Noleen shock?
.
Ive seen these noleen shocks on several of the newer proflex from 96 or 97. It looks like it could fit the 954 but has anyone tried?
This leads to the next question. Does anyone have one sitting around they are willing to sell?
Thanks!

i would second the ods suggestion.
it's likely the best bet!
i'm running elastomers on an non ods shock (656), and while it works, it's not optimal for xc riding.
on the elastomer front, you can try suspensionforkparts.net or find some rubber bushings for cars.
