Anybody heard of a Proflex X1?

Chap is selling this as an ex-team Proflex X1 - looks like a standard 856 to me - could be a resprayed XP-8 or XP-X I suppose? Anyone enlighten me?

X1 ? - No such thing IMHO

possibly an XP- series bike, it's got the steerertube/downtube gusset, but still got the canti thro hole on the seat post.

XP-X was Red frame, no canti hole, Blue rear end with Magura HS-11's
XP-8 was Gold frame, no canti hole, Black rear end, with V brakes
XP-6 was Orange frame, with canti hole, Black rear end with V brakes

No sign of Blue paint on the rear end, looks like it was originally Black?
Red paint job looks hand painted?

I'd say it's a Medium XP-6

Wasn't the X1 a Fighter plane? Wishfull thinking but I think he may have his wires crossed a bit.

judging by the amount of paint loss on the swing arm and the pointy teeth on the chain ring, it has had a lot of use.

where I the decals I ask you?
