Is this one of the mega rare 857/4000 Hybrid bikes like what Nora Roesch rode for a while in the late 90's? or just a re-creation?
I didn't think they were ever on public sale?

which begs the question of wether you can fit an x57 swing arm to any "two tube" type frame?

Did anyone on here get it? (I'd have had it, but I was on holiday)

I missed that one completely. It certainly could be one of them or parts of one of them as the sticker on the swing arm is in the right place and the NR2 with short Ti spring looks correct. Callum replyed when I asked about Nora Roesche's bike (which he saw) and said that they used 5000 frames painted red with 857 swing arms. So may be it has been rebuilt with a new frame hense the yellow but with original back end.
Or then again it may just be a copy, but the Ti spring NR2 looks spot on...
I was contemplating building one a while ago and as far as my measurements went yes the 857 arm will fit a 4000/5000. I think the square tube frame looks really trick with the 857 arm but ofcause you would be sacrificing an inch of rear travel.

If thats Nora in the photo in the back ground, she's put a bit of weight on!!
