Another interesting shock adaptation idea
« on: July 29, 2009, 08:48:44 am »
hello all,

I think some of you saw tha Crosslink on eBay a few months ago where the guy machined an adapter piece for the top shock eyeley that let him run a non-ProPedal Fax shock in his Crosslink. Well, I just ran across this additional idea on the net, dated earlier this year. What's interesting about it is that the guy chose to use the hole in the top yoke where the top linkage arms fit, not the higher hole intended for the shock's top eyelet. Take a gander...as usual, I'm interested to hear the comments of the more experienced folks in this forum! :-)

Now that looks a much neater and stronger method of mounting the shock than the other attempt.
Certainly shows what can be done with a little thought and effort.
