I agree. I have all the kits I need, but it may be worth putting together a reserve. With Callum archiving some kits, I think we may be safe.

So far from within this forum we also have some alternatives to parts and service. Here is a few I can recall.

Springs and elastomer kits from RDI (Callum).
Simon's sealed bearing conversion poceedure.
Risse Racing for air shocks.
4500, 5500, Oz seatmast insert replacement proceedure.
Carbon swingarm loose lug rebonding.
OP's quick swingarm pivot regrease technique.

Any others?

Might be worth putting together a nice list and making a sticky?

I'm (trying to) make a kit that will allow a Fox RP23 to be added to a x57 frame (to replace NR2) - not quite there yet - need lots of fiddly parts to make the x57 frame accept the shock mountings.  I've also got a carbon oz frame (some posters here owned it in the past!) that I am retrofitting parts to as well to make sure we have bikes that will last.

I'm not sure what to do with HammerHead kits.  I've got some left but have stopped selling some of them due to lack of demand.  Maybe everyone who was going to get one has one now.  I might make a new batch if there is demand and then let the stock pile sink down to nil.

I mostly lurk here but the lack of a reliable part source for x57 and crosslinks has me worried enough do a bit about it.  I am going to get some redundancy for the knowledge and contacts incase the forum decides to blow up or something unexpectdly happens.

Going to also stock up on some of the NOS ebay kits as well.  Just wish I had stocked up earlier as I think the eBay ones are a lot more expensive than ironhorse if I recall correctly.

Hmm. Also glad to hear that RDS is looking into making a RP23 adaptor for the x57.  Callum, can you keep the "Small" size frame in mind, as I understand there are differences in the noleen (shock body diameter?) used on small and other the sized frames.
