Floating rear brake on an Oz? Sealed bearing swing-arm?
«

Has anyone successfully done this? I'm looking at doing the sealed bearing swing-arm conversion shortly, and thought I may as well investigate the brake option at the same time.
I've done a bit of a search, but thought I'd throw up a new post in case there's been any progression or advancement on either of these things?

Yes done it,
really don't think its worth it but it was a good project to do.
Also it had an aluminium swingarm.
Sorry no pic's I had loads of pic's of all my projects on my 4500 and 856 faux bar on here but they've all disappeared and thats it coz I have no copies

i cant get over how high some of you guys run the seat....I am 6 3 and my 756 is a 20 or way big.Seat tube extension is much more modest...I have relatively short legs for my height ....but even so!

thanks for the responses (and pics), i had a funny feeling the consensus was that it wasn't 'really' worth it. i'll do the sealed bearing first - then perhaps look at 'somehow' removing the need for a disc brake adapter (ie: machine a dropout incorporating the necessary mounts, or wield it or something).
any ideas on that?
