Yes,  they will fit, but you will need to have extra headset spacers to fit underneath the upper mount. That means you will have a very tall stem.

thanks for that , as I thought and with the legs being longer it would upset the balanmce of things I guess.

Looks like I'll have to wait for stock size carbon forks.

Hi foksy,

Is this the set you're talking about:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=170276719706

If so, would you consider sending them to the US, and if so for how much in shipping costs? Also, can yyou tell me the distance between the fork leg mounting bolts? These are the ones on the outside of the fork legs starting from the top that attach the fork legs to the linkage arms. Is it something like 190mm?

Thanks in advance,
- Doug

Hi Dug

I asked the seller the length of the legs from the top piviot to the axle , they come out at 570mm which are 40mm or so longer than the ELT's I have on my 4500 likewise with the stem thats approx 40mm longer.

Maybe you could ask the seller for the other diamensions and whether he would ship out to you.

Shipping would be approx £65.00  plus tax, I've based that on a 4 kg package through royal mail UK

Hope this helps

Richard

Heard back from the seller...he quotes around 195mm between the linkage mounting bolts, which seems to match my Way Big 4000 (plus, the extension on the bottom of the shock is a giveaway). He'll ship to me in the states, so I'm gonna bid. It'd be way cool if you all could let me win this one, instead of bidding up the auction, hehehe ;-)

Bummer, I didn't win. I bid 139.00 and someone won with 141.00. Those prices are in GBP! Sheesh, must be the most a Crosslink fork has gone for in quite some time. Oh well, the quest for carbon Crosslink legs for my Way Big 4000 continues...
