Big thankyou to Willie_B
« on: July 10, 2008, 02:28:54 am »
Just thought i would post a public thank you to Willie_B.

He graciously sent me a fork seal kit from across the pond over to the UK in time for me to service my forks before setting off on a thousand mile ride.

I know this is part of your spares kit for your own bike so i wont forget this, i'll trace a replacement. (Colin, keep on the list for a set please  ;)  )

Its a credit to the forum that someone ive never met or even spoke to is willing to do something like this for a complete stranger.

Now if you could just send over a little florida sunshine that would be great!  ;D

Thanks again Willie_B

Andy.

I love stuff like that - I've been the beneficiary of such acts from total strangers on this forum. I think I've even been the benefactor once or twice  :P

gotta say it's a grat forum

I'm a noob to the forum, don't know a soul.  Wandered in with a lame question that's probably been asked a number of times -- within a couple of hours, answers started coming in

Just glad I could help. I have been helped in the same manner with my bicycle and my '75 mini several times. It is that good Karma thing. Hope you enjoy your ride and it all goes smoothly. Brad.
