I was at the Interbike show in 1990 with Charlie Kelly, and as we were touring about, we came upon this two wheel drive bike. It was mounted off the floor on a stand that raised both wheels off the ground so you could spin the cranks and watch both wheels turn. Well, we walked up to it and after watching other guys give it a spin, Charlie turned the cranks super fast, then hit the front brake HARD, and the front drive cable split open on the spot, disabling the bike and provoking great hoots of laughter all around. Needless to say, we didn't see that rig at the next year's show-a one year flop!
