Thanks OP - I'll check it out

Colin - sorry for the diversion... Make sure you don't hang your Juicy fitted bike upside down on hooks. I understand this can create bubbles in the fluid.

Will

Air bubbles? Surely only if it isn't a closed system and/or there is air in there anyway?

No worries, cause I fall off if it's inverted...........I have tested this several times.........

The Juicy's have just arrived and they are wicked!
Any tips on fixing the hydraulic lines, It looks like I can't use the existing cable guides unless I drill them out and remove the end fittings on the hydraulic lines and feed them through and refit and bleed?

One concern that I have is that they use 5.1 fluid and this is corrosive on paintwork, I like the Magura Mineral Oil philosophy.........but then again the carbon frame hasn't got any paint! - Result!

SRAM X-9 shifters just purchased..........anyone using the Avid Matchmakers to mount brakes and shifters? Is it worth it?

Hmmmmm............now what else?.......aaaahh yes, wheels!  I'm thinking Mavic XC717 rims..............

I'm a big fan of SRAM trigger shifters.  I would use the Matchmakers if I had Avid brakes.  I made a commitment to use mineral oil brakes so I got both Magura and Shimano's on my bikes.  :(

get some 'top tube cable guides' - they mount in the hole and provide and exterior mount path for the new hydralic line - these are from that site just posted but they can be found pretty much everywhere.

take a look at my - http://idriders.com/proflex/galleries/Old_Proflexer/Bike%20Side%20View.jpg - and you can see them mounted before get painted.

I (and be sure to) put some black electricians tape on the cable housings and frame where the cable housings will rub - they eat into the frame pretty quickly and that will save you a lot of anquish.
