I don't know what the mounting looks like. But it is good to know that Risse has a shock for it.

Got a picture?

I imagine it'll look a bit like this on the Attack frame which has a similar-ish setup.

very nice. how stiff is the rear end though? Are the elastomers supple enough? The ones on my 753 are a tad too stiff making it more of a softail than full suspension. Maybe 1" travel.

1" are you bragging or complaining. no seriously i cant budge the damn thing it's solid and this is the soft kit for a 656 from rapid. i aint sure if frame design is hindering this though as 656 shock sits further under the top tube giving more leverage. plus rapid say that it should take about 100 big hits to soften up. back in 1992 i had a 552  and fitted the original yellow elastomer kit and could get about 2" hell i used to bottom the thing right out down cossal ski slope in ilkeston. these new elastomers dont do my bike any justice i know what there capable of i love the old design and 954 which i used to drool over. we really could do with k2 or ironhorse to knock up a batch if there is enough demand who cares if they only last 2-3 years i would spend £20 every year to keep it on the road.no disrespect rapid your doin us a great service but you cant please everyone.
oh yeah 1 other thing i contacted adrenalinebikes.com as they have elastomers listed on there web site and they say we aint done them things for a couple of years now.

update........
just had these new photos from risse racing regarding my shock fitting request. looks a tad long and might upset frame geometry but will contact them again to see if we can do away with daft bracket design and perhaps get direct fitment as shown in oranges photo on the 56. checkout the three photos of green bike in this link.

I see what you mean. The only way to correct the geometry is with a longer travel fork, and a decent amount of sag in the rear shock.
