Ahhhhh, Carbon alas
« on: October 26, 2007, 07:01:38 pm »
Just bought a spankin new OZ frame on eBay.  Whoopeeeeee.  Now I just hope the thing shows up.  What fun it will be to build it up.

Is it really on OZ?  Don't tell me if I overpaid.  I've seen built ones go for over $1K.

Now I just have to figure how to fabricate a disc brake adapter, or does this come with the holes?

if it isnt an K2-oz its a 5500 or 4500 proflex...I suspect the latter because of the PRO action sticker on the swingrm...same frame though

I think also it is a 4500 or 5500. But if you put Oz stickers on it, you would have an Oz. Personally I covet anything that says Proflex.

Nice buy, I had my eye on it!

Hmmm OZ tastic. I have the Magura HS33 on my bike Very powerfull set up. There are lots of how to fabricate a rear is disk mount on here. Why not try a disc on the front, with a rim on the rear. cracking frames, light and strong. Some guys have been known to add a 'weld' of 2 part epoxy round the base of the front mech mount, more insurance than common failure point
have fun
