New to Proflex
« on: April 13, 2007, 07:09:01 pm »
Hey guys, just picked up a stock Proflex Beast 98 for a sweet $AU350.  Great condition and a joy to ride.  Trouble is - I'm having problems finding info on this particular bike - as I don't know how to attach a pic as yet (still working on it) I'll have to describe it as the angular frame (rather than the classic round tubed frame).  Sorry - it's not much to go by.

Any links you can provide?

Hi - thanks.  The top one.

What's the general opinion on this bike - I've been looking for reviews but don't know what the specific model is (apart from it being a Beast).

I had a 97 beast, the bottom one.  When the 98 came out, I was not sure of it, pivot location and shock position and all. But I got a 1999 Oz, and became a believer. Here is a pic.{img}http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-6/1036595/dadbike3.JPG{img}

The only problem I would have is replacement shocks, but Noleen shock service may be able to help

Enjoy and welcome,
Terry
