Swapped front fork or OEM???

Hey all;
Check this out!
If anyone cares to know, it's a Rocky Mountain Experience.
As the topic title asks; Is it or not?
I was under the impression that the Girven front fork was unique to our Proflex/K2's.
Anyone care to enlighten me on this?
G.

I guess they could have been added afterwards. The bike manufacturer Orange, no relation ;-) , used these forks for a while. A good place to ask this question would be
www.retrobike.co.uk
they'll definitely have an answer for you there, if nobody does here.

Vectors and Crosslinks were always available as After Market options for customer fitting to other bikes. I don't know if any other manufacturers fitted them as standard?

Well, from what I've gathered thus far, this bike is circa '91-'92. I'm venturing a guess that the OEM front was not a sus fork. Probably a steel fork.
I'd rock that ol' Rocky Mountain. It's for sale right now on UsedNanaimo.com. {An hour and a half drive from my location.}That's where I got the pic.
Okay. Enough Rocky Mountain.
Back to Proflex/K2's!
