855 with a history?
« on: October 03, 2006, 06:48:11 pm »
I've just bought a red 855 off Ebay and the owner tells me it has a history - one of the first it was brought over from the USA and raced by the Gull brothers (???) who were world champions in their day (???)...

I'm not sure about any of this and fortunately didn't pay extra for this history!!

Can any of you shed some light on this?

I think that might be Grewal brothers - now they were famous right?

I think so and the other one is Rishi. I'm just doing some research right now to see if I can find a pic of one of them on my bike!! Or maybe some history...

All I can find at the moment is that Rishi was 24 hours world champion, but I can't find any mention of Proflex, only Klein.
