Does anyone want to buy my bike?
« on: April 03, 2006, 05:54:18 am »
I am the chap that is selling my K2 on ebay, you know the one with the carbon bits on it!
Sorry for the exclusion of any carbon cranks - I did have some for it but I put them on my hardtail.
If any one is interested in buying this bike off me then check it out on ebay.
Cheers,

Hey Doogie,

You have a really nice bike there. Why are you selling, if I may ask? If you were in the U.S., we would be talking. [smiley=nod.gif]

Anyway, is it a large?

Hello Terry,
I am not totally sure what size frame it is.
I got the frame on ebay and I gradually built it up with additional carbon bits.
I do like the bike and the only reason I am parting wiyh it is because I have not got room for the bikes I have.
I just got hold of a Whyte 46 and I am really pleased with it and I can not really keep 2 full suspension bikes.

But having two full sussers is perfect!  One agressive trail bike and one more suitable to longer xc style.  That way you don't have to compromise on either!   :)

You can probably tell that is what I do - My K2 Evo is my trailbike, and my Salsa Scandium Caballero is my 24 hour race bike.  I don't really have room for them either, but I make room.  Plus make room for my two road bikes, my wife's mt.bike and road bike, and my sisters mt.bike.  That's 7 bikes that I don't really have room for!

:o
MOUNTAIN:
00 K2 Evo 4.0
99 K2 Flying Monkey
03 Salsa Caballero Scandium

ROAD:
06 Cervelo Soloist Carbon
06 Look 555 carbon
06 Fuji Cross Pro

Total of 42 bikes owned in last 5 years

I suppose you are right, you can never have enough bikes, but at the moment I have 3 and I am in the process of building another carbon framed hardtail.
I have aquired some PACE RC41 FIGHTERS to add to this build and I am in a dillemma of whether to strip down one of the other bikes to build this new one up or just get second hand bits off ebay.
