Suspicion confirmed -hope disc adapters for Vector

Here is the reply I got when I asked about an adapter for my hope disk brake for my Vector 2's:




The only thing i remember about those was that they used the older mechanical brakes which we no longer have any parts for i'm afraid.

I have a pair of Girvin Vectors and a pair of Girvin Crosslinks forks and somebody told me you used to produce a disk brake adapter for these forks at one point. I have a Hope Closed 2 disk brake (I think that’s what I was told it is – it’s from 2001, though may be from 2000 stock) that I want to fit to either of these forks.

Do you still do these?

How about asking if they still have the drawings
of the adaptor,if so maybe they would release the drawings so someone could copy  
worth a shot

There is nothing i can do i'm afraid, that sort of information is no longer accessible, it has been removed from the computer.

you will just to do some measuring and draw some up yourself  [smiley=laughing.gif]
seriously its not to hard,you can checkout my gallery and see some of the daft things  I've got upto in the past,
finding a good and willing precsion engineer is the hard bit.

Looking at the front and rear adaptors and as it looks like Hope hubs I'd put money on that they
are both the old Hope adaptors.
