Swingarm Kits for x57?

Anyone knows where to get a swingarm rebuild kit (bushings and o-rings)?
It seems that k2 is out of stock for a long time...
I need 2 or 3 of them...
Anyone?

Well Simon may be getting busy.

If Que-too is out, I don't have faith that they will restock.

Simon did the sealed bearing conversion to my 957 and Oz swingarm over the holidays. I have the Oz assembled and I am very impressed. I would recommend the conversion if the original parts are never more.

Once Simon bored out the holes and supplied me with the axles and spacers, all I had to do was get ti bolts and bearings. The bolts cost me $12 and the bearing cost me $26. The bike feels like a new bike.

I have not done the 957 yet, but I expect even more amazing results for it.

Can you tell me about the bearing conversion you mentioned?

My current bushings and rings are as new, as I picked a new 97 animal frame 2 or 3 years ago and barely ridden since then.
I now have two carbon swingarms to use in the animal frame, as well as a new carbon crosslink (well, I had a 757 in the past that broke at the headtube, and I don't know why, I loved that fork; so smooth over the little bumps...).
The spare swingarm was bought with the idea to do the sealed bearing conversion.
I ended picking up 3, one for a friend of mine.
As I experienced once in the 757, removing the swingarm mars the rubber seals, so...
Now I have 3 swingarms and one frame!!!

What about the sealed bearing conversion? What do I need to do to the swingarm to use the conversion?

Bearing Conversion?

Well Simon has this nifty line bore reamer that opens the bushing holes slightly to fit metric sealed roller bearings to them. 2 on each side to be exact.

Then he machines an axle shaft from a high strength  alum to fit through the frame and interface with the bearings. He also machines some high strength alum spacers that separate the bearings and another set to center the sealed beaings in the clamps.

Once the parts are fitted, you tighten retainer bolts to hold the bearings, slide the swingarm until it is centered symetricaly, then tighten the swingarm clamps and you are done.

Look at Simon's Gallery for pics. He could direct you further to make the parts yourself if you so desire. But he did a top notch job for me. I would have spent more money tooling up to do it myself. Now I am done and a happy biker.

have you contacted cvi? they were selling bushing kits on ebay a while ago.  simon how long is the turnaround for your conversion? as im thinking about it for your old frame. you will be glad to know its lost another pound in weight now, ive changed they tyres from irc mythos 2.1`s to tioga red pheonix 1.8`s with different tubes and saved 270 gramms per wheel! im not a jumper or do anything mega technical so the thinner tyre should be fine.

Couple of days (excluding postage time) as I have 1 shaft and shims already,you would need to source your own bearings and bolts (I can supply these but I'm unable to get these at a good price),yes thinner tyres are fine in the current conditions (I'm running 1.95 Panaracer,kevlar bead) also just got another pair of air-b tubes of ebay.
