Proflex 855 for sale
« on: September 29, 2005, 11:03:07 pm »
I have an 855 that I bought from a friend 2 years ago.  I replaced the Girvin set-up with some Bomber forks and a Woodman stem on the front and a Risse shock on the back.  It also had a new Mavic rim and Shimano hub on the front at the same time.  Since then I've hardly ridden it and now I'm selling.

E-mail me at john@bowerock.co.uk if you're interested for more details.

I thought about £250?

Location - Northants, UK.  I can deliver in Northants, Cambs, possible Leics and Beds.

how do you like the bombers as compaired to the girvin?
K2 evo, marzocchi mx comp, fsa cranks with mega exo BB, fox talas rear shock, cane creek aeroheat wheels.

they feel lighter (not sure if they are) and certainly have a lot more travel...

by the time i bought the bike the polymers in the girvin had just about had it though, so I guess I never got to feel how it should have done.
