That is strange isn't it? I mean I have never heard of these before and they have been making them since 97 I think. I like the improvements they have made in comparison to the Girvin's and Noleen’s but the surplus in travel is one so called improvements that I don't see as being good for the design. The J path would seriously effect the steering. It would totally ruin the mechanics because of the floating axle path on such a tall fork. I like this design. But the technology is best for shorter travel forks.

these forks look pretty hot. in addition to the freecross model, they also have the spezial with adjustable travel from 100 to 130mm.

now, if they only made their stanchions from carbon, they'd really have something going.

still, they look good. those germans seem to know how to make cool stuff.could you imagine my Oz with this fork and Xentis carbon wheels?

The price is the reason shy I designed the long travel kit for my girvin some years ago.

I hope I will find some extra time to cnc mill the long levers.

And some time in the future, then I'm grown up, I will buy one of those paras!!! I promise!!

I just took my 1995 Mountain Cycle Moho (the hardtail that isnt a "hardtail") down from the rack.  I have had the Girvin Vector 2 shock on it since I built the bike and Oh My..The sweetest fork ever made!  My elastomer still seems to have a good spring to it, not dried out but I am dreading the day it does.  Im sure if someone out there came up with a way to manufacture replacement elastomers they would sell like crazy.  There are so many people out there who love the Girvin but just cant find replacement parts.  Girvin are the  [smiley=bomb.gif]
