THat must be an issue on your end. Looks like a cool picture to the rest of us... My wife loves it too. In fact, if I had one like that of me, she'd probably let me put in on the wall in the living room!

How'd you do that picture Jinder?

Thanks Matno...A friend of mine did it in Photoshop.... this is how he did it...

It is a collage of 2 photos using 4-5 layers. Here are the basic steps:

Layers: Photoshop
1) background woods/bike layer (his entre layer was motion blured)
2) Next up: Jinder on bike cut out from background (I kept this one sharp)
3) Next up: Jinder on bike cut out (this one had motion blur applied)
4) top layer is cut out of Big Jinder.

Note: The reason for having 2 cutout layers of Jinder/Bike was so I could blend the 2 together to get a bottom motioned blur and a top sharp To create motion on the legs etc. but retain the identifying upper body.

I took these 4 layers into Painter to clone. The nice thing about a layered clone source is that you can hide layers and clone them in one at a time in Painter.

1) I used the funky brush for the blured tree background
2) Smaller size of funky to clone in Jinder/Bike
3) New layer added above and used smooth cloner to bring back the detail I needed of Jinder/bike. It is good to use a new layer for bringing back detail so you can later adjust its opacity and or/layer mode.
4) new layer added and cloned in big Jinder wiith big square chalk.
5) Went back over this layer with a smaller big chalk - justa little more detail.
6) Added new layer and used the smooth cloner for getting back details on big jinder

I used the opacity slider and modes to get the painting that I was after. I also added a canvas texture back in Photoshop plus sharpen. As you can see, most of the harder work is done at the beginning in Photoshop. Cloning is the easy part.

Note: I like to sharpen at the end because it gives more definition to the strokes. Sometimes I even over sharpen because I like the effect

Just curious - who takes those pics of you? Do you usually ride the same spot a few times to "get it right" and such? I'm very interested in learning more about your art/methods and such.

For now i'll just have to drool at you.
