WTD - 272 cross frame

Wow - just seen the cyclo-x frame by offroad in one of the recent posts. Didn't even know they ever made cross frames! I want one! Anyone got any info on where I could get hold of one, preferable New Old Stock so unused, but anything in reasonable condition would be fine cos I can get it powdercoated and looking like new for very little...

Yes! They made Cross Bikes!

As far as I know it was in the years 1992 and 1993.
I have a 252 frame from 92. I'm just building it up. I hope it will be ready soon.
Post a pic if U can get one of those bikes.

Well, I got it from a store in Germany in the year 2000.
It was there on stock for years.
The frame was new but 8 years old, the only thing was the missing damping unit, but as it is only elastomeres it was no prob to complete the frame after I got some elastomeres from the netherlands the rest was simply some laith work.

And unfortunately for you it was the only frame that store had on stock left. I bought it for 100 DM that time, which is 51 Euros or about 70 US Dollars.

And unfortunately I am looking now for years on ebay.de .uk .at .com .ch for that frame and I've never seen one of these frames on ebay.

Maybe someone else can help you.
