K2 Bike Tech experience

I just had a very pleasant experience with K2 Bike Tech via the web and phone.
I have a flex-stem that I bought from someone on this forum (can't remember who, sorry) that I have mounted on my Trek touring project (yet another project!).
anyway, the stem seemed real soft for me, so I emailed K2 looking for tuning info. they emailed back saying there is no tuning but they have elastomer sets available for 9.99. so, I just called up and ordered two sets. each set has soft, medium, and hard. always need a spare.
they were very nice, the girl who took the order on the phone is actually from Manhattan. she recognized my area code.
so, my first and, so far, only experience with K2 customer service was very nice. just thought I'd report that. man, I must be bored tonite.

Dennis I think you are a sucker for any woman [smiley=laughing.gif]
It's so good that k2 will now allow consumers to buy directly from them.

Dave was the rep guy that helped me when I called for some bushings. he was very nice despite his habit of pronouncing Canada "Canadia". It may have been intentional. I found it funny anyway. He wasn't sure if they were able to send to Ontario, Canada from Washington state because of jurisdiction area between suppliers but sent me them anyway. Thanks Dave.
Be ready to spend allot of cash. Part kits are very expensive.
