Simon is a true gentleman...

I just wanted to publicly thank Simon for sending me a custom-made through shaft to upgrade my Oz to external sealed bearings for the swingarm.
He sent me a through shaft, across the ocean, for nothing.
There are alot of great people involved in this forum, and I am very grateful that I found it a few years ago. I have learned so much, and I even got a split ring from Carbon Angus when I needed one a couple years ago.
so much great information and help here, its a great thing.
thanks again, Simon, Carbon, and everyone else.

The thing that make this forum special is the people. Almost every other forum I visit has people ranting and cutting each other up constantly. This has really been flaring up on mtbr recently.
Thanks to everyone for keeping the site so great.

Split ring Dennis??? Sounds painfull!! [smiley=laughing.gif]
Would have never managed to make half the err, quality additions to my bikes if I hadn't been inspired and aided by this forum's members.
You are so right about the tendancy on lots of other MTB sites to just slag off each other cause "you haven't spent your 'pocket money' on the latest bit of kit. Thankfully this site is a little undiscovered island of biking paradise, (just like in 'The Beach') Hope it stays that way.
cheers Dan [smiley=beer.gif]

Like most of you I glance at one or two other sites and see the same people just trying to put everyone esle down like their sheit dont stink but on this site you can and will get honest answers to any questions. If know one knows then some usally goes and looks at their bike to find out or give helpful advise.
I love this site!

Yes... Simon is a pretty cool bloke. I am thinking of moving to England and I emailed him a few times and asked all sorts of questions etc - this guy really does care about people.
We'll meet up someday soon Simon!
