2005 Avid cable disc's
« on: February 11, 2005, 09:14:43 am »
Anyone here know what the weight differences are supposed to be between the 2005's Avids and earlier years?

Performance differences?

Avid's web site says that they modified or eliminated the adjuster knob on the spoke side. That could be the weight savings.

41 grams lighter puts it close to the Marta hydro brake. I saw an MSRP of about $120.

You gonna git one?

actually I already did, still waiting for the delivery.

155.00 for the SET  front and rear, 185mm rotors and calipers only.

the 6 inch rotor set was a little cheaper

Are they that loud?

I'm planning on getting some too, give use some feedback after you try then.

Oh are, DM-UNI Universal Disc Brake Adapters (rear) any good, I would make one but I don’t have the tools and equipment necessary to make one
