Anyone have a spare 450lb spring?
« on: April 11, 2005, 07:23:32 am »
More specifically, I'm looking for a Stratos progressive spring for my rear Helix Pro. I've tried 500lb progressive, 400lb linear (which were both a bit too stiff), and am currently using a 400lb progressive, which is nice and plush, but a bit too soft (too much sag and bottoms a little too easy, making the air assist difficult to adjust). If you've got one, I'd be interested in buying it. (Wish I knew of a spring shop close by so i could just have one made!)

I would also be more than happy to swap or sell my current springs (I still have the two 400 pounders - one linear and one progressive rate) if anyone is interested.

(Getting closer to joining the "former Proflex owner" club these days. However, the right balance of rear suspension could prolong my membership in this club indefinitely!)
