i am seriously considering fabbing a complete new strut,not myself but i will design it,or a smart little one like the cnc one in the galleries.I am wondering tho if that shock has the right ratios/valving for the wc bikes

i think that shock has too much travel or a wc bike

then just do what i did on a shock a ways back -

make a 25 mm donut out of heavy rubber, plastic or such, with a cut on the side, put it on the shaft to prevent however much travel you don't want.

i mean, while you're fabricating and all, should just take a couple minutes -

If you are going to make a strut, think of using carbon tubes for legs.  It would match the crosslink nicely.   ;)

i wont pursue that project he wants 600 bucks for the shock......hmmmmm carbon
