The scariest part of the Miles crash video is that it seems his "buddies" were as much worried about whether they had gotten the crash on video as how Miles was doing.

I would hope my friends would be more worried about my health.

A very scary video, if you ask me. I hope something like that never happens to me.

No way. I hope that if anything like that ever happens to me, they get the whole thing caught on tape (except for the stupid part where he just falls over on the trail!). I'd want something to show my kids what NOT to do...  :o

(Besides, there were two buddies. One could rush to help while the other stays on the camera...) I just wish the cameraman had used his zoom lens during the fall!

 Mr.Miles is extremely fortunate to have walked away from that. Whatever luck he lives by was there that day.

this video reminds me of when I did the same, except on a road bike, but I only fell 30 feet.
( Cal. eastern sierras ). Broke parts of me that were meant not to be broken....
