A big thanx to Kiwi and family!!!!

  just wanted to say, on the forum, a big possum thanx to kiwi. after bugging him for a couple of years about my wanting to go to NZ, asking him questions about this and that, i finally took the dive and went.
not only did he take the time to help me with my plans, but he and his wonderful wife and lovely daughter took time out of their busy lives and met us in wellington. it was a "typical" day, windy and wet. they spent the entire evening with us and gave us the kiwi warmth and charm we had been missing, up to then.
it still amazes me how the world has gotten so much smaller. that by corresponding on a little electronic box, i can make connections with people from around the world. and i can meet them in person and already have a friendship established.
by the way, the south island is simply amazing!!!!
if you're go there, don't miss queenstown.
we didn't want to leave.
i finally got to do a bungy for my 50th birthday. it was 440ft(134m) and was awesome.
there is some much to do there, we ran out of time.
