bleed valve?

Hey guys.  Gotta quick and dumb question.  I just recently upgraded the rear shock on my Razorback from the stock Noleen to a Fox Float RL.  The Fox has two valves instead of one; an air valve and a bleed valve.  What's the purpose of the bleed valve?  Thanks.

most modern air shocks have two chambers,one like normal and the other is to try and balance the pressure atnormal  or slightly overextended position in an attempt to reduce stiction,sometimes called the negative chamber.

So if I'm not having any stiction problems I should just leave the second (bleed?) valve alone and not add any air, right?

ahhh no i think you do need to have pressure in it.Have you checked out the fox website..they must have some set up info there??
