wanted - 600lb spring for Noleen NR2
« on: September 23, 2004, 02:00:57 pm »
I'm looking for a 600lb spring for the NR2 on my disco monkey to upgrade from the stock 550. Anyone know where to get one from or have one for sale? They are unavailable in New Zealand.

So you live in New Zealand? Hmmm... I have a 600Lbs. spring that mine came with and would trade you for your 550Lbs. Mine is a little over a year old and only mild riding. I have never jumped anything bigger than about 2.5feet on this bike.

Not sure what would be involved in shipping to Newlealand from the US.

If you are looking for new though I know www.cambriabike.com carries mountain speed springs in all different sizes and springs rates. And they are on sale. But it is a US based company and not sure about shipping.

Thanks for the offer Kevins19. Shipping cost from US to NZ for similar size / weight items I have bought off Ebay and pricepoint have been about $12 - $15 on UPS airfreight. I would prefer air freight as we would both be without bikes temporaily and I may suffer withdrawal! Airfreight to NZ from US normally takes about a week. Presumably you would be interested in a straight swap and we each pay our own postage?
My bike has only had 3 months riding - I bought it new on a stock clearance from a store in Arizona in June this year. Spring has a small paint chip from seat post hitting but otherwise is as new. If you want to do a trade email me at graham@rmgroup.co.nz.
