XP8 Shocks/Springs

Can someone help me? :o















I have recently got a Proflex XP8, she's one owner from new with coil-over shock upgrades 8)















(front and rear (girvin front))















Can you upgade to any newer shocks?  [smiley=laughing.gif]







Can a lighter spring be obtained from anywhere? ::)















Whot about disc's? [smiley=worry.gif]































Money's a little tight as have a new [smiley=diaper.gif]

Do mean lighter as in physical weight or as in a lighter spring rate  ???

Disc's yes but its not easy you will need a suitable rear disc adapter, checkout RDI on the links page (you could make your own),
for the front I think you would have to make your own adapter, checkout OP's gallery or contact him he's very helpfull and he's well versed in this conversion.

 :o Sorry when I say lighter I mean, I am lighter than the last owner and preffer a softer front end....

Depends where you are but most shock rebuild centre's should be able to match you up a suitable spring,failing that some centre's do make custom springs,shouldn't be to expensive and as your on a tight budget just fitting  suitable springs is probabaly your best bet for the moment.

Hi,
  if you do find a cheap source in the uk for springs. (looking for a 250-300lbs/in spring to use with my ODS front unit), perhaps you could post it. Also, do you have a link to good Dartmoor rides. My relatives live in the area so would be good time to visit and do some cross country.
