Girvin Bar Ends - Light!

I stopped by the post office and weighed my Girvin Barends.  They are the original ones that came with the bike, except I put Ti bolts in them.  They weighed 44 g each.  

88g for a pair of barends - especially a pair that is 8 years old - is pretty light!  I will definetly be keeping these.  If I had used taper head Ti bolts, they probably would have been a couple of grams lighter as well.

I just put a pair of these on my specialized. They look pretty beat up but to me seemed a lot better (and lighter) than what I had seen for sale.
