MegaAir fork - max tire size?
« on: January 31, 2004, 01:42:37 pm »
On my xc/trail bike I'm currently running a Weirwolf 2.5" tire on the front, with lots of room in my Judy SL fork. I'm thinking of picking up a Noleen Mega Air to replace the Judy (from all the good things I've heard about the Mega Airs, and I'd really like to get a better-damped fork than the Judy), but the pictures I've seen of them make me wonder what tire widths will fit (their bridges don't seem to "flair out" above the brake bosses like many other forks).

What are the biggest tires these forks will fit?

Hi, Someone here will have your answer, but also post here http://forums.mtbr.com/forumdisplay.php?f=49
There's a bunch of lightweight part fans who've bought the Mega and can also fill you in on what else they've discovered about the fork.
