8)tell those guys to educate themselves. the razor is a copy of the well reviewed turner stinger. k2 licensed the design from turner with only a few changes. for your area i would think it would be a great bike.
mtb action still calls the razorback one of their favorite xc bikes.
i have a '01 team razor and i love it. it's light, quick and fast.
if you build it right, you can have a 22-23 lb fs bike. i have large with discs and beefed up mavic 317 wheels and it only weighs a little over 25 lbs. and i didn't do much weight-weenie stuff. i weigh 215 and needed to balance weight and durability.

I am just finishing a 2001 Razorback 3 build and got help from bikendan and others from this forum. If you need any specific info about the component sizes please let me know. Unfortunately I have yet to actually RIDE one of these... Still lots of snow on the ground here and about -15 C...
See the Gallery photos under airman...
Cheers

Don't worry about anything. If you really nead anything for the frame I'm sure you wil be able to locate it on this forum.
besides That is a kick ass frame. You'll be able to make a really light FS bike.

I have a spanking new '03 frame(broke my '01) that's a Way Big with disc brakes and it's under 27# with a Marzocchi on the front. It's a great XC bike. If you're a smaller guy(and I'm not), you could easily get it to less than 25 with V-brakes and a Sid or Skareb(of course, I wouldn't ride one of those noodly little things, being 6'6" and 210). Have fun [smiley=laughing.gif]
