First my weight is about 190-195lbs. (too much good  [smiley=beer.gif])

This is strange, but on my Noleen NR2 I had a 550lb spring. I also had a 600lb. Titanium spring but it made the rear to stiff (I hated the fact that I couldn't use the Ti and get the ride I wanted :()

Since getting a one of those 8.5" Fox Vanilla RC (from Supergo.com) I have used the 400lb. spring to get the same feel that I had with the NR2. I tried running it with the compression all the way off, but still need a 400lb spring. I did buy a 500lb. fox sping for the Vanilla but it made it too stiff???

I don't know why I would need such a lighter spring on the fox, is it the fact that it is .25" longer than the NR2?  or, is the compression on the Fox that much greater to make up the difference?

I don't know, but those are the facts.
