Is it possiable to bolt on a new shock with the SPV to replace a old Fox Float or is it more then it is worth regards to time & money?
Just a thought to a potential upgrade.

I'd say yes provided you can get the correct i to i lenght and there are no clearance issues, whether its worth or not it is the reason for my origional posting, still unconvinced regarding fork application though as Scott points out the fox fork version may be the one to go for, personally I think its more suited to a shock application, though still not convinced enough that the small bump issues have been fully addressed to concider purchasing one, maybe when they have been further developed, Simon

i rode a Liquid with a swinger 3way and Sherman spv today for a short while.
the swinger seemed to keep things very tight even trying to go out of saddle, but when bumps came it was pretty plush. the fork is NICE too and on a 68.5 head angle ..the stem was like a 100mm...it steered quick
the interesting thing is the Swinger 3way for the Liquid has an i2i of like 8.25 (measured on the bike)and i thinkk a 2 inch stroke. gonna see soon what mods to make to my Oz for a fit.
caveats? the rocker links and swing links and horst links, etc don't BOB as much to begin with....taking a shock designed for that type of suspension and applying it to a tru single pivot cantaliver beam....may be asking too much of the swinger? ..i will report back though.

still in love with my road bike
...at the moment though

FYI swinger 3way Air does NOT fit the EVO style frames caus' the adjusting barrel knob and lower valve are not opposing and unless you want to hide the upper adjusting knob...it's not an easy mount
too bad it was 8.25 and 2 inches of stroke, too
