Ive got the old-school proflex beast (I mean pre 97!) and I keep snapping the alu cup on the rear shock. Can anyone advise a way of converting to a newer, longer travel shock? I mean my opld shock bolts on verticaly at the swingarm and through like modern shocks under the seat post. Any ideas anyone? [smiley=worry.gif]

Try
www.stratosusa.com
they don't show anything for your bike on there fit wizard but I'm sure they use to make a shock for your model but I think it comes with a strut.I believe your model is a strut type being pre 97
if not then it must be post 97 then most shock manufactures should be able to accomodate.Simon
