How to get a Easton PROGRAM badge?
« on: April 14, 2014, 09:23:08 am »
Hi all.

I'm trying to get an Easton Pro-gram badge (the ones that came with the 957, 857, 957, Beast and Animal, but I can't find any.

Does anyone know how I can get one of them?

There's been some threads on here discussing getting repro stickers made up, have a search amongst those maybe?

I managed to buy some 957 stickers of very high quality at graphicshack, but the Easton badge is made out of metal...
It has to be from a scrapped frame...

Oh, my mistake, didn't take time to think about what was being asked for..........

So, if The metal badges can only be from original frames then "There Can Be Only One"...............(per bike)..............<GRIN>

The problem is the badge only came on '57 framed bikes and they don't brake very often so I think you'll have to but a cheap frame just for the badge.

Embrace the fact that your bike is no longer a relic from a forgotten time in the distant nineteen-hundred and nineties, and look to the future. Make it look good *now*; the past already happened, and its opinions are irrelevant now.

I do want it to look good, but want a retrobike and I am kind of a fan of small details and original stuff.
I'm doing a custom paint on a frame (which defeats my first paragraph), and only thing missing is the badge. I could always take it from my Animal frame, but I want to keep it original. The badge is almost invisible anyways.
I'll use this one for some road and city cycling, as I got a more modern yeti for the trails.

My bikes have still got the factory instruction stickers on the frame and swingarm, I know where your coming from.  ;) Keep checking eBay for a cheap one, you never know you might get lucky.
