HERE'S a good one [smiley=diaper.gif]. Just got my new '03 Z1 Freeride for my Evo and damned if my locking skewer on my Yakima rack won't close because there isn't enough clearance near the dropout..............&*(%^%$. Any suggestions?? Don't these guys ever think about this stuff??

Good news/bad news
There is a company that makes stuff to fix your problem. Bad news is I hear they are behind production so eveyone complaining about getting one.

Actually, I have standard dropouts. However I figgered out a simple solution. I put a couple of star washers on the 9mm shaft to space the locking mechanism a bit further from the lowers on the fork. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the input.
