This frame is located near me; could probably get it for less than the $100? Check out the frame modification. Would yo risk it?

Yes!
But too late now as the auction ended on the 6th.
So didya get it?
$100 for a working rear smartshock and what looks like a slightly modified serviceable swingarm sounds reasonable.
The mods to the frame seem to be excessive removal of metal that could affect the seat mast integrity, so not so keen on that aspect of it.................
Anyway it's
YELLOW
, and that's the
WRONG
colour for a PRO~FLEX! - <GRIN>
Colin Initiates a lively debate over colour choice of bikes and ends up getting ostracised from the forum................this forum is filled with far too many nice people and we need to get some internet abuse and bullying going like a "normal" forum! -
NOT!
<SMILE>
Well, what was the outcome on the frame?

Thanks for the input Colin. The person who won the auction bailed on it, so the frame owner emailed me directly to see if I still wanted it. It is located in the same city I live in, so I can pick it up directly. After looking over the pictures again, I am going to pass on it. I want an intact 5000 to keep my YELLOW one company.
