Disc adapter for 857

hei guys...i need some help, is there anyway i can put a disc brakes in the rear of a 857? i don`t think the carbon fiber swing arm is disc compatible....has anyone done it before? any suggestion on how to do it?

You can go to the above link and order an adapter. The *57 swingarms are predrilled and tapped for an adapter that saw the light of day but the Hammerhead works.

Also you can make your own.  A few here have done both.

wow...that looks really complicating..haha...but if i can get a lay out diagrame of it...i might be able to ask some of my mechanical engineering friends to help me... :)

this is a Hammerhead for my Oz, the 857 Hammerhead is similar in design but a little different because the dropout is shaped different, for one thing. you are looking for something like this one, i think ???

i used to have a detail explanation of how to build one on my old site but when i changed servers - it disappeared.

somebody here said they saved it, might be somewhere on the old site somewhere
