857 front and rear shock interchangability
«

The rear noleen shock on my PFlex 857 fell apart last night and the centre shock shaft has snapped at the base inside the bottom housing that bolts to the rear strut.
I still have my cross link elite front forks which I replaced with r/shox when I badly damaged one fork leg . Does anyone know if the front noleen shock is interchangable and can be used to replace my broken rear shock?
They look exactly the same except for 2 things
1) the front spring weight is a 200 bs the rear 300( no problems as I can swap the 2 springs over)
2) The font shock has a different connector to the rear shock (at the bottom to mount in the crosslink forks )
If the shocks are interchangable/ the same , how do I change the base unit to fit into the stays?

no can do.There may be a way of changing the "tails" of the shocks but i think that it is a specialists job or at least an engineering shop familiar with this kind of this. You can get your nolleen rebuilt by k2 or noleen there are links to the left. The other alternative isnother noleen off ebay or a stratos or a risse.
